Thanda United (Khayelitsha, South Africa) is our most ambitious partnership via our DMB FIT CREW project: over $76,000 raised for music, leadership, and a global stage. Friends of the Columbia River Gorge and other vetted partners follow the same path.
Programming that demonstrate our placemaking model. Roots equips local youth to understand local governance, join committees, and meet needs in their hometown from the inside. Sample project: teens pull weeds at an elderly neighbor's lawn in exchange for their stories, then produce those stories into content the town keeps forever. Service, reciprocity, artifact.
